Blacks stand up for Tea Party

Several prominent Black Tea Party members held a press conference in Washington, D.C. to refute claims that the political movement is racist.

The list of speakers included, former Presidential candidate Alan Keyes, Kevin Jackson, president of the Black Conservative Coalition and Lloyd Marcus of the National Association for the Advancement of Conservative People of All Colors. (Editor’s Note: This is a real organization, we did not make it up.)

Success: BP to finally seal leaking well

Oil engineers are prepared to place a permanent seal on the Gulf of Mexico oil well that has leaked for four months.  The seal is expected to be placed today.

Kagan to be confirmed as justice

Unless something unprecedented occurs, Elena Kagan will be the next US Supreme Court Justice.
